This is a set of images which I could take during an afternoon/evening walk at lower Manhattan last August. Having seen so many fascinating images of Oculus I wanted to see that place with my own eyes. The other images are made in the immediate vicinity.

#1 Oculus - golden hour

#2 Old and new

#3 Reflections/sunlit facade at the golden hour

#4 Golden hour reflections

#5 Traffic lights

#6 Skeletal structures

#7 Skeletal abstract

#8 WTC - facade detail

#9 WTC and 9/11 Memorial North Pool

#10 Oculus at night

#11 Mirrored neighbor

#12 Oculus abstract

#13 Oculus - the space

#14 Like a cathedral

#15 The skeleton from inside

#16 Repetitive structure

#17 Oblique angle

As always stellar from you. You have an eye for architectural type photos that I can never come close to. Tfs. Btw they are all good!

Wonderful set of this striking architectural design, showing it off in its entirety as well as in the refined detailing.
Very hard to single out favourites. But if I had to, they would be ##5, 7, 14 and 17.
Thanks for sharing.

I've been there and shot several times and no series I have even comes close to this group. Stunning in ever way - fabulous eye you have. I find "Traffic Lights" particularly exceptional because not 1 in 10,000 photographers would have taken the shot.

A little late to the party, but another applaus for this inspirational set . For me # 7, 11 and 13 are on top of the list. TFS Harald

I saw "Traffic Lights" in the weekly gallery and have to say: well deserved. Albeit I would have difficulties to decide between "Traffic Lights" and ## 6 and 7. Very strong series thanks for sharing!
