I'll join.
I think I'll try something a little different for me and immerse myself in my least favorite focal length 35mm.
week 1: A99 + SAL35F14G
week 2: A850 + Konica Minolta AF 17-35mm 1:2.8-4D
week 3: A77 + SAL35F18
week 4: A99 + Minolta AF 35-105mm 1:3.5-4.5 RS
4 per week

Yes please. A77 with Sony 35/1.8DT chooses itself since I'll need lightweight gear for part of the month while travelling. Undecided on my second lens.

I'll join, because I need a slight challenge to get going again, lately there hasn't been so much life in the hobby and really the post processing queue is of quite a length..but I need to think about something other than work during the fall and a pre-release version of Darktable 2.7 has just less than a week ago hit my main (Linux) machine and brought a UI refresh(first time ever since I started using it) (bits of Googles 'Material' theme) and what seems like a small speed increase.

'Slight' challenge is:

3pics/week for October.
Voigt 21/3,5 native & Voigt 75 2,5 M-mount.

I'd like to join in. The issue is recovering from rotator cuff and a torn labrum surgury on my dominant shoulder(the right) and I'll be in the first half of rehab. That being said I'll give it a go. Camera and lenses TBD.

    Count me in.

    Weeks 1 and 2: A900 and Tamron 90/2.8. Weeks 3 and 4: A900 and Minolta 24/2.8.

Regarding the hemispheres debate - I think we can all agree that Octoberfest involves beer, regardless of hemisphere, right? Though I for one would not be offended to see also wine (regardless of hemisphere). And some of us are just hemispherical in shape.

But all primes, being in some cases aspherical, are welcome, too.

    To confirm: Min AF 24mm f2.8 & 100mm f2.8 D on an A99ii (my new toy).

Pic a day I hope, if I fail I shall substitute an outtake from earlier in the month.

All to be square crops (with a bit of luck I'll get an entry or two for the current DPC) - I reserve the right to compose in the middle of the frame and crop both sides.

A7Rii with Carl Zeiss Jena Biometar 2.8/80 (in the mail, will take delivery next week) I think. Perhaps one more lens, probably something wide like Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 4/25 or 4/20. 7/week will be my target, but let's see as work is busy and I have a lot to do in and around the house.

    Made up my mind:
    Biometar 80
    Flektogon 25
    Portrait orientation only
    2:3 aspect ratio
    Straightening but no cropping
    7/week

My photo activity level needs a boost.
Four a week. Two with Sony 50mm f/1.4 and two with Minolta 24mm f/2.8. All with A99mk2.

I love these, tend to get caught in real life, but I'll do my best.

3 a week with my 50mm Minolta macro f2.8 and my Sony 35mm f1.8, with my Sony a77ii.

I have not used these 2 primes much lately. I did I think an April fools with my 100 macro and now it's my favorite lens.
