+1

I had my last 14 teeth (count them!!!) extracted a few days ago and now learning to cope with full upper and lowers . Getting fed up with soups, yoghurts and having my wife cut up my vegetables in tiny bits while everything settles down and heals. But I now have a nice smile at last

So I'm really looking forward to starting this challenge and having something else to focus on other than feeling very sorry for myself.

I packed my stuff - some special occasion just popped up. We do hope for something nice at day 1.
Otherwise i still have my special filter to try out at f1.8 - and we'll generate tons of boring images .

Nice sunny start from Joe - as I sit looking out at a wet, grey day. It is already being suggested that we may have the wettest October on record! :(

This morning rain came down with a vengeance in the Low Lands. Fortunately things are looking a lot better now...

Day 1, lots of rain at the moments I had time for photography, brief clearings when I was busy with other things. So my first desperation shot is up

I hope to do better tomorrow

Day 1, lots of rain, leaving and arriving home in the dark. Work in between.
I am afraid Day1 will be a pass. Hadn't decided on lenses yet. Using a macro will enhance the indoor opportunities for days like this, so that will be the Sigma 2.8/105 EX DG Macro HSM OS. As second lens I'll use the Flektogon 2.4/35mm.

It dosen't matter how many times I do these challenges, the first struggle is remembering how to post thumbnails! Managed it though

Everyone is complaining about rainy day 1... So even here, where we have 360 days of sun in a year, it was cloudy in the morning (although it cleared at noon, so I guess it is not considered as one of the five not sunny days...).

Talking of thumbnails, I changed from flickr to smug-mug and the smallest image size bb code is considerably bigger than Flickr. They do offer code for smaller sizes but crop the image which doesn’t look right in a square format.

I suppose I could create my own suitable size thumbnail from the original and send that to smug-mug too, and use the code for it as is.

Does anyone with experience of thumbs and smug-mug have any alternative suggestions?
