Day 1


This thread is for posting your photos for Day 1 of the 2020 Oktoberfest challenge.


Rules:


- no talk please, there is a Oktoberfest Talk thread for this purpose,
- each member participating in the 2020 Oktoberfest challenge is allowed to post exactly one photo here
- shots must not be posted here earlier than October 1, but can be posted later
- a title, exif info, purpose and story of the shot, and (a short indication of) your challenge are all good extra info to provide and help others to comment
- if participants would like to show more photos: we have the Oktoberfest Outtakes thread for this purpose
- please remember to start and update your mini-gallery in the Oktoberfest Thumbnail thread
- the general guidelines of the challenge can be found in the first post of the Sign-up thread

Just got back from tonight's expedition to Te Henga. Here's my contribution.

a7R + 110mm Voightlander, 1/4 sec.

This is at O'Neil Bay, about 40km from home, and requires a coastal bushwalk to get access too.
a77ii- and some Sony/Minolta A-mount lenses.
a7riii- Zeiss Loxia 21mm, Loxia 35mm Loxia 50mm, Loxia 85mm, Voightlander 110mm Macro, Sony 24-105mm, Sigma 100-400mm.

We had a short (~20 min) dry spell which allowed me to go into our garden and find some fungi around the firewood storage

Its a very high tide on the Tamar at the moment, the structure in the foreground is a landing jetty for a small passenger ferry that runs up and down the river-
