Day 12 

This thread is for posting your photos for Day 12 of the 2021 Oktoberfest challenge.

Rules:

- no talk please, there is a Oktoberfest Talk thread for this purpose,
- each member participating in the 2021 Oktoberfest challenge is allowed to post exactly one photo here
- shots must not be posted here earlier than October 12, but can be posted later
- a title, exif info, purpose and story of the shot, and (a short indication of) your challenge are all good extra info to provide and help others to comment
- if participants would like to show more photos: we have the Oktoberfest Outtakes thread for this purpose
- please remember to start and update your mini-gallery in the Oktoberfest Thumbnail thread 
- the general guidelines of the challenge can be found in the first post of the Sign-up thread

	Our village contains one of only two surviving(ish) mediaeval castles in the county (the other being some over-rated pile in Windsor). For some time there has been some confusion - 'meet me at Donnington Castle' could mean the castle or a village pub of that name. A third contender has recently been erected.
