I'd love to inform you: your photograph suffered the same weather conditions his subjects did

Day 4 outtake: Defense works
I'm always admiring Pieter's (pegelli) route along the old defense line around Antwerp.
All the buildings are derelict, leaving opps for Urbex photos.
Not the case in the Netherlands. There are as many (if not more) fortresses in the defense line around Amsterdam, and there is another cool defense line, that allowed for flooding the land with 35cm water: not enough to float a boat, and a barrier for fast-moving of canons and horses.
Anyway: All Dutch fortresses are bought by people who thought they could make a dime with them. Storing beer to age it (yes Aged beer is a thing here), exhibitions, small restaurants, Youth hostels, you name it.
And the fortresses are 'automatically' maintained.
So no derelict fortress-shots here

I didn't bring my 18mm, so I had to emulate that with a 135mm. A panorama of 21 shots
