After a system crash of my otherwise faithful MacBook Pro that necessitated an SSD drive reset to get rid of, I have managed to reload software from scratch and have all systems necessary for my workflow going again. Just in time for Oktoberfest.
Still not decided on lens(es) to be used, we'll see. |

I still have to determine what to photograph - with which lens?
Well when the Samyang T&S 24mm arrives in time it'll be one of the 2 lenses i'll use (i found one for 499€ brand new in Germany - shipping cost included). The 2nd one will be the Samyang 85mmf1.4 manual A-mount glass that stays too much into the closet (having the LA-EA3,4,4R and 5 - tons of options are open - the LA-EA3 may be the best option i assume). 3 pictures a week - camera's will depend on my mood. |

Arriving any day now, I will use Hugo Meyer Kino Plasmat 1:1.5 f=16mm, a 16mm motion picture lens (APSC, probably vignetted). That is, if I can find a way to mount it (this lens has an unfamiliar mount). This decision will displease most viewers because this means extremely swirly bokeh. As I will not be betting on one horse, I will throw in the Meyer-Optik Domiron 2/50 as a second lens.

I have two Batis lenses, at both ends of the popular prime-spectrum
18mm (F/2.8) and 135mm (F2.8). And both are 'underused'. So that is settled |

Had a look back at my previous three Oktoberfests and see that I have used Min 24/2.5, Sony 30/2,8, Min 50/2.8, Min 85/1.4 and Min 100/2.8 (twice) so I feel I should pick two different lenses this year. So I am going to use the Min 35/2 and the Min 50/1.4 RS.
