This day I had a puncture on the motorway. Approaching, slowly, a lane closure I realised things were not right - I pulled in just in front of a pair of cars that had recently collided. As I called the breakdown service another collison happened alongside me. a safety car arrived, I thought they were reserved for F1 - but no. The police arrived next. So we were soom 8 cars in a line on the hard shoulder - which counts for excitement in my life these days!

This was the view I had while awaiting the breakdown man.
