The good thing about the Revox is, that all electronics plans are available, even with those that want to use a osciloscope to verify things. And you can find kits to repair things, so you cannot make mistakes with the components (and they even are so kind to give you a manual on how to replace those parts).

This machine dates from 1978, it's old but one can fix that himself. That's the main reason i tried to fix it. It already was prepared to be go to the electronics-recycling, until i found out what the issue was.
Maybe you heard me curse - because i managed to damage one of the printboard lanes - lucky for me - the ends of the component where long enough to reach the next soldering island (but when you do such things with a multilayer board - it's RIP).
