why not
i'll post 3 per week minimum

lenses : min 58mm 1.2 rokkor PG (3rd gen) and min 200mm rokkor 3.5 QF (2nd gen)

the 58 1.2 still needs some attention, as the aperture is stuck. The lens looks and feels absolutely spotless apart from that, i wonder if it was ever used at all. Would probably make a nice piece for a collection, but i do not intend to keep it for display only. Loved the min 58 1.4 for its rendering, I have high hopes for the 1.2.

The 200mm lens was a spur of the moment purchase, only read afterwards that it comes at 770 gr weight and only limited reviews exist. Should be arriving this week.

Oktoberfest, naturally I'm in. Two primes, which ones to be decided later.

The oktoberfest, with lots of clicks & no beer (because the antishake doesn't correct that kind of behaviour).
Lenses to be determined later. (at this moment it may be the 85mm f1.4 Samyang A-mount + maybe the 300mm or will it be the 600mm).
3 a week
(and when i manage to locate the owl that's stays in the cloister garden it may be 7 a week!).

update: It'll be the Minolta AF 135mm f2.8 + Tokina 11-16 f2.8 @ 16mm.

First of all, I would like to thank you again for your concern about my wife's illness and your good wishes for her recovery.
My wife suffered a stroke and will probably remain severely handicapped.
But life (my life) goes on, must go on.

I try to take 5 pictures a week, portrait format only. I still have to choose the lenses. I'm there, please put me on the participant list.

So, having used every one of my primes repeatedly over previous Oktoberfests (Samyang 24mm f3.5 Tilt/Shift, CZ 135mm f1.8, CZ 85mm f1.4, Sigma 15mm f2.8 Linear Fisheye, SAL 100mm f2.8 Macro and Minolta 500mm f8 Reflex), and deliberately not using my CZ 50mm f1.4 because I feel that's best saved for Week 50, and not wanting to be too repetitive, I was wrestling with lens choice for this year.
I've decided to use my CZ 16-35mm f2.8 Vario-Sonnar set to 16mm on my a99ii, and SEL 70-200mm f2.8 GM OSS ii set to 200mm on my a7iv.
Pic a day, probably 16mm on days 1 to 15 and 200mm days 16 to 31.
Roll on October.

I'm in and will actually try to stick it through the month. Seems like the last few I have had to bow out due to health concerns. Not sure what I am going to use, but probably one of the new Zeiss lenses I recently purchased. Probably the 24mm f2 or the 135mm f1.8 as it is rather dark here this time of year. Of course perhaps 50mm or 85mm and then do a self-portrait month . . .   Need to ponder on it, but will have something ready day 1.

Oktoberfest is the time of the year to go with new lenses. So, it will be Sony FE 1.8/14mm GM or Minolta AF 300mm F2.8 APO G HS with LA-EA5, both on ARM4, although I'm tempted to give the A99 a run for its money as it hasn't seen much action lately. 7/week avoiding the complications of Pic-a-Day, although I will try.

I’m having much fun trying to improve my focus stacking skills with the Laowa 100 2:1 macro recently, so I would like to change the 135/1.8 for the Laowa.

So I will be using the Laowa and, now that I’m at it: the 50/1.2 rather than the 35mm
Should be fun!
