Oktoberfest 2023 - Talk thread

And so another Dyxum Challenge comes to an end. 31 images, 12 at 300 mm and 19 at 14 mm. The 31 images came from 14 sessions. I have done one month of Pic-a-Day in the past but I found out I hate it, it is too hard to go out and shoot something decent everyday of the week, particularly as most of the daylight is lost to office hours.

Pic-a-day achieved with 15 images at 24mm and 16 at 200mm, Variable quality, as is inevitable with pic-a-day as Pieter says but it got me out on days where I might otherwise have stayed in. I'll be glad to get back to the zoom option, I found 24mm generally too wide and 200mm too long

Pic-a-Day

Congratulations to all who managed to make it to the end. Sadly, I did not.

As for me. I tried to keep it interesting and was planning a "Team Sony" "Team Olympus" group shot but life got in the way.

I made it to the finish with a little belated end sprint.
Thanks for all the encouragement required at the end of a Challenge month.

Jonas's makro effort, and in general his well-prepared shots of flowers and insects. (I remember having seen a selfie of you, but that didn't make it to the thumbnails?)

It's not that others didn't do very well, but I couldn't catch them under one umbrella
