Trevor Leat's willow sculpture "Unbind that wing" celebrates Bodnant Garden's Laura McLaren and her family, and their 50 year fight for women's suffrage. "A nation ruled by men alone is like a bird that tries to fly with one wing bound. It rises, flutters and falls again to earth. Unbind that wing and together men and women will lift humanity to heights before unknown".
