A couple of Day 1 out-takes with the Silver Gulls at Brighton Beach, Melbourne.
All a99ii with CZ 85mm f1.4 Planar. Would have been better if the in-coming birds in flight filled the frame. Silver gulls, incoming by Joe Lewit, on Flickr Would have been Day 1's entry if the left wing hadn't been clipped. A few more gull shots from Kew.
First one (DT 30mm) is to illustrate to Snegren that this urban bird's survival instincts weren't too bad - he had a moat to protect him from me! Day 2 Outtake 1 The other three (100mm D) are shots I could have chosen, perhaps should have? I just liked the angle, the water and the feet best in the one I chose, despite a more confused background. Day 2 Outtake 2 Day 2 Outtake 3 Day 2 Outtake 4 Day 2 Outtake 5 Landscape crop for Nordlicht. Day 2 Outtake 6 Close up of ring for Hezu Edited by Phil Wood - 10 April 2022 at 14:52 |
