Voting Thread for the Exhibition This is the voting thread for the exhibition of the 2020 Oktoberfest challenge. All Dyxum members are encouraged to vote! Please use this thread to vote for your favorite entries of each participant! Voting will be open for a sufficient period of time. You might use the option of adding comments as well, but on the line following your votes - please keep it within the format to make counting easier. And please do not respond to comments directly in this thread! In case you wan to respond to comments please return to the Talk Thread for that purpose. What should you do now? 1) Go to the Thumbnail thread. 2) For each participant, pick your favorites. Please identify your choice by date or number/idetifier used by the participant. 3) Post your votes here. You can award up to two photos by assigning 3 points to the one you like best and 1 point to the second one. You can award only one photo if you like; in that case give either 3 points or 1 point to that photo. Copy the template from below, give your votes and please stick to the format (to give some examples): username1: 3pts: 8 username1: 1pt: 6 Comments: add your comment here username2: 3pts: 12 username2: 1pt: 24 Comments: add your comment here . . . etc 4) Feel free to add comments, but please keep to the format! 5) Feel free to reply to the comments people give you, but please use the Talk Thread for your response! 6) Have fun! Thank you for voting! At the end of this, we'll count all the votes and have an exhibition of the challenge's best photos of each participant. P.S. If the thumbnails are correct, Ctrl-clicking on them will open the original posting full size in a new window. P.P.S. Vote for yourself if you want to - you're allowed an opinion on which was your own favourite. |

I've posted comments through Oktoberfest so I've no more to add here.
As always, Dyxum Challenges are a great impetus to get out and about with cameras and lenses of particular combinations, and the results from around the world are a pleasure to see. This year made more challenging by the limitations imposed by Covid-19 lock-downs and other constraints. gregja 3 pts: day 22 gregja 1 pt: day 31 comment: Jozioau 3 pts: day 18 Jozioau 1 pt: day 30 comment: Snegren 3 pts: day 15 Snegren 1 pt: day 12 comment: pegelli 3 pts: day 20 pegelli 1 pt: day 21 comment: onsplekkie 3 pts: day 23 onsplekkie 1 pt: day 6 comment: bigsi 3 pts: day 12 bigsi 1 pt: day 7 comment: Phil Wood 3 pts: day 27 Phil Wood 1 pt: day 1 comment: alpha_in_exile 3 pts: day 14 alpha_in_exile 1 pt: day 27 comment: Fred_S 3 pts: day 27 Fred_S 1 pt: day 25 comment: LAbernethy 3 pts: day 10 LAbernethy 1 pt: day 6 comment: ktrucke 3 pts: day 25 ktrucke 1 pt: day 5 comment: AsD 3 pts: day 22 AsD 1 pt: day 1 comment: MiPr 3 pts: day 19 MiPr 1 pt: day 10 comment: |

Had been keeping an eye on the thumbnails with a view to commenting and had chosen one per week for each contributor. That was hard enough, so this is even more difficult but here goes.

Jozioau 3 pts:1 Jozioau 1 pt:11 comment: great mixture of 'daily life' sceanes. your street pics with people tell a story, so they have my vote! gregja 1 pt: 31 comment: Liked 30 & 19 a lot too. Jozioau 3 pts: 18 Jozioau 1 pt: 19 comment: Day 4 is a great example of what can be done with tilt shift focus.
