Very nice to read your story and see the pictures you selected, it gives good insight what makes you tick and appreciate your avidity for photography. Some call it lust, others a drive for perfection. No wonder if you started off with a Leica.

Greetings from Nijverdal, not far from where you grew up. Still trying to learn to speak some Twents (your help would have been appreciated); people here say that I need an "inburgeringscursus" (Dutch integration exam) to that end.

Keep going!
Philip

Good to read something about your background.

Nice pictures you selected from the many I saw from you
And, I think high of the comments you give day after day on all kinds of topics. Thanks for that too.

And most of all: looking forward to the Dutch Dyxum Meeting. We'll have a drink on the ocasion of your 'One of us' selection.
Congrats, well deserved

Probably my fault Cam, as I answerd a call from him in another thread.

But it really deserves some more credits with that great story and great images and I'm sorry to have missed it in the 1st place.

Wish tho, that I was faster and had more stamina and time to look at everything and comment them all as they deserves it but so it is not anymore, more of a random pic now and then.

Hmmm, I'm not drunk so what now?
My mail says that Cam (brettania) posted an old post alert that I think should remain for those not knowing/seeing and gets in here for a second time.

G'night all and so allso to Hawkeye Cam :-)

Good to see this one-of-us selection still getting the recognition it deserves. We have had some very good submissions to this series and hope to be able to add some interesting stuff in the near future.

Well done Pieter and congratulations on entering such an illustrious body! A very interesting and diverse series of work, but this is also equalled by the positive, generous and supportive feedback you give to so many of us who post on Dyxum. A great combination of attributes!

Very best regards, Neil.

I deleted that "alert" because I saw that this OOU, for some reason, had not attracted the same interest as previous ones.

So my thinking is now that your post served a useful purpose.

Pegelli,

Well deserved inclusion in the "inner circle", for your outstanding photos and your contribution to the forum, from well placed criticism, to your jovial responses to any topic you post on.

Thanks Cekari for "bumping" the thread. Kind of funny to go back to it after almost a year .

For others, this is how that got started, so our little noncence brawl lead to something (slightly) more useful

Thanks to the others who have added comments as well. The last year I've become even more involved with Dyxum, so thanks to all of you for bearing with me and accepting my AE comments.
You can see the April Foolishness 2021 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum
