Out goes the captain, in comes the pilot.

Now that we have a new One of Us, I want to thank you for your excellent story and photos Willem.

I always enjoy looking at your images: they are invariably made with great skill and an eye for detail and what makes a photo work.

Also thanks for telling us about the person behind all this beauty.
Of course having met you several times, and having followed your Liguria 'blog' here on Dyxum, that person was not completely unknown to me.

I look forward to meeting you again soon, and in the meantime I'll just keep enjoying your new work and stories here on Dyxum.

Thank you and all they make a comment.

This guy walks into a bar down in Alabama and orders a mudslide. The bartender looks at the man and says "You're not from round here are ya?"
"No" replied the man, "I'm from Pennsylvania." The bartender looks at him and says "Well what do you do in Pennsylvania?"
"I'm a taxidermist." said the man. The bartender, looking very bewildered, now asked "What in the world is a tax-e-derm-ist?" The man looked at the bar tender and said "Well, I mount dead animals."
The bartender stands back and hollers to the whole bar which is staring at him "It's okay, boys! He's one of us!"

One of Us for all and all for One of Us.

Regards Willem.

All ways in a good mood here.

@Stormvogel: Congratulations upon your elevation to become "One Of Us". Thank you for your many superb contributions to Dyxum and to the art of photography. By nominating you as "One Of Us", Dyxum again demonstrates that it represents excellence, high quality, learning, generosity, artistic abilities and extraordinary goodness.

I am pleased and satisfied that I am a member of Dyxum and, consequently, associated with someone like you.

Respectfully,

Jocelynne Littlebear

Technical question: Can anyone mount this dead animal?
