Back to the Future. I'm waivering in my opinion of this building, but it always presents interesting photo opportunities. At the end of a winter day the light passes over the C19 OUP and St Paul's buildings, and others behind and to one side are reflected in the glass façade. A nearby empty lot is used for parking (one day it will be a glossy addition to the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter), and for now we have traffic cones marching across the foreground like alien geese.

The building houses the Blavatnik School of Government and is located on Walton Street on the western side of the site of the former Radcliffe Infirmary. Somerville College is a neighbour to the south. Architects were Herzog & de Meuron. It opened in 2015.

Yes, absolutely, and nice to see someone showing the results here. I've taken dozens of rolls of film with the original 35 and am planning to show at least one in my 150 challenge.

Seven Sisters, distressed

You may recall my previous version of this view, cropped square and on the previous page of this thread. Here I have transferred a full frame version to an Instax Wide Link printer - these makes a photographic print onto Instax Wide film. In this case, however, this is from a film that got jammed in my camera and rather than loose ten prints I stuck it in a drawer to await the day when I got a new(er) Instax Wide camera. I'm still waiting, and then Fuji bring out this printer ... and the distressed and lightly fogged film brings its own character and sense of decay.

Wytham Woods in winter

Still using that A7, I took it out at the weekend with the Samyang manual focus 14mm F2.8 lens. Wytham Woods are to the north and west of Oxford, just outside the ring road. It is a tract of land gifted to the University eighty years ago, and from the top of the hill, where the woods start, you can see across Oxford to Headington and the gleaming white JR Hospital complex. I was on the hunt for a photo that shows winter and in the absence of snow this will have to do.

I have looked at duotoning that last photo (or one like it), but I miss the old duotone panel that used to be in LR; the new colour grading panel gives me too much to play with! Also, this version here is almost going into duotoning territory so I feel there isn't so much to gain. I appreciate the suggestion.
