I too like your little friend Dougie - that's a nice lively shot. Your landscapes with castles capture the atmosphere of places, even the vagaries of the weather. You won't have missed the legendary Barter Books in Alnwick, and I hope you had time to see Bamburgh castle nearby too.



Bamburgh, Lindisfarne and Slightly Foxed in Berwick - we had a great time in Northumberland.

Hi Phil

It's been good seeing this photographic tour of castles and old buildings. I really like the black-and-white shots the most. The seem to suit the textures in the terrain and building you're seeing.
