Good to see the stereo set-up there, Brian. What's the thing with the Logan label?

It is a mount cutter. The silver rule behind the OWL has a ridge along its length and the cutter runs along it. It is angled at 45 degrees so that when you cut the hole in card to mount a photo it produces a nice chamfered edge.

If you look at the black stereo card I was experimenting with the cutter to give the left and right openings a bit of style.

They are available from good craft type outlets. Here is an example of one on Amazon.

I used to print and mount my photos for club competitions. Not so much now though

I really can't get Ollie and Rosie to "merge" with my stereo viewer, but the other two work splendidly

I bet that Benalup photo increases the desire to start travelling again, at least with me it has that effect.

Week 10 (see project details here)

Project 1 Photos with the Sony FE 90mm f2.8 Macro G OSS
W10P1 Happy accident (pressed shutter button while picking up camera)

a7ii 1/60 f5.6 ISO100

Project 2 Photos taken with the Sony RX100iii
W10P2 We like crisps

8.8mm (24mm FF equiv) 1/30 f8 ISO2500

Project 3 Travel photos from my archive
W10P3 Cancun, Mexico, June 2006

Sony DSC-P92, 1/400, f10, ISO100

Note: W10P3 Cancun is a very photo significant image for me as it was the very last photo I took with my trusty Sony DSC-P92. That afternoon in our hotel room I forgot I had put it on the bed and when I gave the top sheet a swift flick to straighten it up the little camera flew upwards until it met the twirling ceiling fan, which then propelled it at high speed into the wall .

When we returned to the UK I visited Jessops in Bedford to buy a replacement and left the shop with my very first DSLR, a Sony a100. Signed up with Dyxum the following year and the rest, as they say, is history.
