Cool, a new player, and more macro to remind me I'm still gonna get a macro.
I enjoyed half a 365 (Jun-Dec) on my RX100 IV (almost the same camera), I quit this for a bunch of 2021 stuff (#photo150 included). I probably won't look at the 180-ish-days of images until they are a year old now, replaced with the new projects. Still there to discover later, like a forgotten roll of film! |

Nice start - and your 90/macro is finally seeing some use!
My A7II + 28/2 are still in their boxes from Tuesday delivery (and I thought that was bad!) I've just remembered (thank you) I took a camera with me to India and Iceland a few times each back when travel was my job ... gosh if I was organized and knew the dates I'd call 'overseas only' my 3rd theme. I still have until Sunday to define my 3x themes. |

That shallow DOF macro is very nice- it looks like the 90mm macro is a very capable lens. Good to see it in action.

Very good B&W processing of that first shot Brian, and the sharpness/bokeh is supurb (but we already knew that from this lens)
Your third brings back good memories, we must have gone to a very similar pace on the coast in my first summer with my KM5D (August 2006). Since I'm doing an archive dump as one of my topics in this challenge I'll see if I can find a good (so far unprocessed/unposted) view of the Gibraltar rock to keep this shot company ![]() |

Another fine first week! The bar is being set rahter high!
It's also good to have company with a fellow 90mm macro shooter, even if the lenses aren't exactly the same |

Thank you very much, but I'm afraid I wasn't prepared for that! I had already posted my apology for a feeble attempt. ![]() |

Well as a pet owner I know the impossible challenge it is to get them to stay still much less get a decent shot. I actually think my wife gets better shots of our pets with her phone than I do because it's always ready for the right moment. |
