Week 1
Shots from 2005, after I joined Dyxum #1 Dog ![]() First picture I posted on Dyxum, KM5D|100/2 Looking for info about a lens, the Minolta 100/2, was the reason I found dyxum. #2 KMFDM ![]() KM5D|100/2|iso800 KMFDM at Mondo, Stockholm. First time shooting RAW. Not many sharp shots due to slow shutter speeds, I was really scared of bumping up Iso. #3 Xmas party ![]() KM5D|135/2.8 Xmas party with work and 2000 other people at Nacka Forum. Maffe, nice to see you posting again! I discovered Dyxum while researching lenses too. I need to dig up my old KM 5D shots, ha.
It's been fun to dig through my archives. My goal is 2 new shots, 1 archive per week. I still have not shot RAW. |

The dog photo is striking - no need for Animal Eye Focus there!

I really like the dog and the KMFDM photo. The B&W conversions are spot on! I think AS saved you in that KMFDM one, 150 mm equivalent at 1/40th is pretty good for where this technology stood at that time, but at a higher iso it would probably have even looked more film like.

@pegelli: Thx, interesting to re-process old shots. “AS” was the reason I got the KM5D.

When I bought it the guy in the store was trying to talk me into a Canon or Nikon but I had my mind set on the KM. This was a Saturday and the following Monday the press release of KM selling out to Sony was published. In hindsight this was actually a good thing, before the A100 came out 2nd hand A-mount lenses were dirt cheap and I picked up quite a few bargains in that period ![]() Nice B&W shots this week. Any reason you link to the 6th and not show it directly? |

@Maffe
I really like that 1 week of snow pic, it has a playful air to it. I wonder how many people still on Dyxum are from that earliest group of KM5D/7D shooters? |

Another nice set from the archives @Maffee
That pose with guitar on Nassville Pussy is really striking. Nice dynamic with great side lighting. |

Still a little rusty from not posting shots in a long tike, corrected the error :)
I lived next to "Hammarbybacken", a slalom slope in Stockholm. At winter or the few days of snow it was always a lot of activity there.
Thx! This set of concert shots was much better then the once from KMFDM, guess 6 month of shooting did improve my skills some ![]() |
