I'd be happy to live in a mural'd house - wonder how often it gets a repaint?!
My flat/apartment is peculiarly difficult to find, to say 'the one with the bear and owl and fox' mural on it - yeah, I can find that! |

That winter walk (my, Voigtlander makes some good lenses) and Hippeastrum flower are very nicely done. Very interested in how you took the Hippeastrum shot with lens and extension tube. Have you tried this combination before?

Over the years I owned a handfull of Voigtlander lenses in all different focallenghts. All had, without exception, great handling and build quility. They are not without foult, but no lens is. Small, sharp, affordable plus some character to the colours and bokeh. Thicks many of my boxes for a good lens ![]() I've tried the kenlock lens befor with extention tubes. Without it is just a terrible lens.... With extention it is ridiculous how close the front end of the lens comes to the object (1-2 mm), sometimes touching it. Somehow the bokeh gets 'funky-but-smooth', colours a bit smeered all together giving it a 'special-saus'. If you check my flickr page on "kenlock" you'll find more pics taken with this combination. |

@onsplekkie
I'll concede I'm also very happy with my foray into Voigtlander lenses. It sounds like that kenlock lens is a real challenge so well done making it work for that flower image. |

Week 3 - All in a 16:9 ratio, just because it looks neat

Oh my! That mural shot looks very striking @onsplekkie.
And that stitch plus Voigtlander 17mm looks marvellous. It's impressive you managed it without a tripod. Good skills with improvisation there. |
