Week 5

(short)Tele - MTB groups on a sundaymorning. Battling the frozen fields & some gates

Street - Small streets in Delft get even more picturesque when murals are added

Anything creative - 8 sec exposure with a ND1000 filter on my Nikon 14.50Ai. No tripod, so again my glove had to do. Bit more tricky in portrait position. 21:9 crop for some dramatic effect

Very nice Week 5 set! The street shot is my favorite, and I need to mess around with long daylight exposures like your windmill. Well done!

Nice w5!
The MTB group looks like cows waiting to run free.
I like how you used the reflection in the street shot.
Portrait mode 21:9 donat really work for my, I thikn 3:2 ratio is a stretch to long for portrait most of the time...

Week 7

(short)tele - 1.5/75 Nokton is my to-go-lens tele lens. GM135, beauty it is, but a beast to carry on a long hike This small oak forest in Meijendaal is like a small sanctuary in snowy world.

street - Klunen; the part that makes iceskating during winter just the little bit more adventures. As ice thickness is not trustworthy along all he routes, some parts have to be crossed overland. Special skate-protectors are place over the skate-iron which makes the getting on/off the ice and walking pretty damn near impossible

anything creative - despaired for a creative shot this selfie on a small frozen lake will have to do. No tripod, so camerabag had to do

Week 8

(short)tele - Troubadour playing during the neighbourhood sing-a-long in our backyard. The sharpness of my FE1.8/135 keeps amazing me

street - Quick (and dirty) roadside repair for pizza delivery shop

anything creative - reflections of our jeu de boule while playing grabbed my attention. Manual focus while throwing the ball up a few times to capture the perfect moment

Week 9

week 10

(short)tele - Loved how these simple doors disapeared into the mural. The 135 still takes me be surprise how much further I have to step back to frame what I normaly do with a 35

street - This bike caught my eye. Loved that the tones of the bike and sunshades matched. Waited for half a minute to let some passerby fill up the frame to give it somewhat more of a story

anything creative - 12 shots stiched in lightroom (handheld). Winterlight already past it's best twilightzone effects. But this reflections over Delfshaven was nice & clean

Nice stuff Maarten, the doors are well seen, the barbershop with bike + bicycle works very well and in the last one lining up the mast and the edge of the higher building creates (for me at first sight) the optical impression of two photo's glued together. And you are lucky with such great and willing models in your week 9 shots, even if they are impatient

THNX for you kind comments. They keep me going during QuarantineTimes...

Week 11

(short)tele - love the compression factor of the FE1.8/135 and shallow DoF. Canta is notorouis for being always at the front of a trafficjam . But you do get free parking in Dutch cities

Streets - fresh murals & civil engineers

Anything creative - My home city of Delft keep giving me lots of opportunities of getting a stitch together.
