I really like the "Snow covered fritillarias" @pegelli - they pop out of the image with that clear background, and the snow gives it an interesting effect (perhaps even more novel for me as this isn't something I'm likely to ever see in Auckland)

Thanks Brendan, we don't see mid-april snow here often either, so I also consider a rather unique opportunity.

Week 16 - Topic 3 (a dig in the archive)

Sergej Van Bouwel, the base player of Absynthe Minded giving me an intense look

A700 + Min 80-200/2.8 HS G

The band indicated that to avoid distractions they only allowed photo's to be taken during the first two songs, this was at the end of the second song and I guess he already thought it had been enough

Week 16 - Topic 1 (day or month prime)

Inside the "flooded" escarpment galleries of Fort 3 (Borsbeek)

A7ii + M-Elmarit 90/2.8, vertical panorama of two portrait oriented photos

I already showed the outside of these structures on day 75 as well as week 11 of this challenge. Yesterday we had a guide from "Natuurpunt" who showed us several parts inside the fort that are normally closed to the public. More of that visit will be posted in different places on the forum later.

@pegelli - oh my, that reflection really adds something to the shot. Was the panorama done in-camera, or at home with software?

Thanks Wētāpunga, it was very dark in there so I needed a 25 second exposure. So the panorama had to be done after the fact on the computer, I don't think an in-camera sweep panorama with such times does work.

Week 17 - Topic 1 (day or month prime)

Another week without a day prime for me and I already had enough of April's month prime, so it's somewhere in a zoom range this week

Pieter, Week 18 - Topic 2 (Vintage digital macro) Phalaenopsis. Amazing photo stack, and from a KM5D too.

I have always wondered what the flowers of the brussel sprout looked like.

Thanks Brian, I find the KM5D ideal for focus stacking, the files are only 6MP so my 7 year old computer can render a stacked image very quickly, much quicker than using my A7ii or A7Rii.

Thanks Manfred, one of the other photographers put a small torch in some of the rooms along the hall creating this effect that get doubled by the reflection.
