T o n y K u y p e r P h o t o g r a p h y Very good resource. Luminosity Masks, Luminosity Painting, The Magic Mid-tones, Saturation Masks Saturation Painting - these are some of the themes that you can find in his website. Tonal range and the Curves tool I think no explanation needed.... Stuck in customs Quite good free HDR tutorial and some paid e-books as well. Digital photography school - Post Production Tips. A lot of basics.. I hope someone will find them useful. Edited by Dainis - 21 February 2011 at 17:55 |

In theory, practice does not deviate from theory, but in practice it does.

Are there a couple you can recommend? I'll edit in the links if you can't. But I just did a search for Photoshop groups on Flickr and there's 34,697 of them.

All credit to dpr for bringing this very good Lightroom develop tutorial from B&H to greater attention - about an hour long but I learnt quite a lot even having used Lightroom for a while now...

Hi there, Does any body have a simple email address, or some other straight forward method for contacting DXO; that does not send you round in a continual closed loop; and rejecting all attempts at trying to download their software, or otherwise contact them. Thanks in anticipation. |

Ahoy!
I've come across many handy sites for tips and 'how to' walkthrough tutorials for various problems (I'm not any good at PP, so need all the help I can get (or find)), but this one might be handy for anyone using PS, though it's deemed specific for correcting bland aerials. That said, I've followed the guidelines and I can verify that it does work. Photoshop For Aerial Photographs If nothing else, it may be one to bookmark for future reference. |

Avast pirate, Thanks very much for the link. But I gave up on them a long while ago. I stuck with my good old Faststone. Cheers |

Ahoy there!
I received an email from ePHOTOzene regarding LandscapePro 2 for which there is a trial download and should you want to purchase it, if you open an account, you'll get it at a reduced price PLUS there's a 10% discount code shown on the download/product info page here. I have no personal accociation of affilliation to the site or anyone connected with it, and I've only posted about it because I'm a caring, sharing kinda guy ![]() ![]() |
