Schneider 28mm f/2.8 PC Super-Angulon shift lens (with their Alpha mount part# 06-019124)

Minolta RF Rokkor 800 mm f8 with 2x M-A Converter-L

Giottos AEGIS SP 83010 multicoated glass protector for the LCD of SONY DSLR-A900 (mundane but important). Almost zero impact on screen visibility, just like a good lens filter. This would never make it into this category if it weren't so hard to get.
45 degrees w sunspots on LCD. See link above for comparison shots w/bare.

No, it came with the black 35-105 at the far right of the frame. The story I heard was that 20K Pearl white kits were made to commemorate the first journalist/first Japanese national in space and the similar rig that Minolta special-made for his trip. (ref. down this page a bit)

According to that reference Akiyama was provided with a 3200i flash, not a 5200i. I've been keeping an eye out for the white lens off and on but have not seen one. There is an auction for the full outfit
here but it closes in 5 hours. If the pic below disappears I'll upload the 3 pics from that auction onto my own site... if anyone's interested.

I should get pics of my other Minolta stuff together -- not exactly gear porn though, unless you're into 16mm, 110 SLR, etc.

Here's my white 35-105 on my A700. I got it from KEH, who occasionally has one. Don't have the camera or flash though.

@800si
hahaha good lord man! Talk about overkill, you've REALLY got your bases covered!
Good to see that there are those living multi-systemed and not going crazy(although, you do have 2 500mms).
This might be me in a year or so, sans the super-teles.

Well, that 400/2.8 does look tempting...

This is my collection of Minolta and Sony lenses. They're all very ordinary pieces, except perhaps the 50mm/1.7 which is a crossed-X in very good condition with manual and warranty documents (expired of course :)). They are all black, but you know what they say: once you go black it is not feasible to return to whence you came from. (Not that I ever had the opportunity to use a GWL :)
