Well it seems I got this one right.

Just had an email from The Photography and Video Show saying, due to you know what, it has been postponed until later in the year.

All prebooked tickets valid for new dates

I think it was a sensible decision of you, seeing your personal situation. We want you around the next couple of years

I'm surprised they left to as late as they appear to have - I've seen plenty of Technical and Science meetings/trade shows etc. cancelled so far with plenty of time left for them.

I suspect this hasn't finished yet - there will be sporting and arts events to be placed under threat before this is through.

I hope everyone stays safe and well in the coming weeks.

Best wishes to all, Neil.

Meanwhile downunder everything is still going ahead at full speed, including the F1 in Melbourne and a near 2 week long Royal Eastershow in Sydney.

There have been rumblings about the F1 - especially as 'the special team' are arriving from Modena....

Bahrain have maintained the race next weekend (I think) but is going ahead behind closed doors - teams and Media only; no fans, which seems a reasonable compromise.

However, as a means for circulating a potential risk around the World, the equivalent of 44 containers and all the associated staff moving from place to place every couple of weeks does seem, at this precise moment, a little questionable.

Stay safe people; please.

Best regards, Neil.

And presumably all the Pirelli tyres come from Milan!
Miranda F & Sensorex, Sony A58, Nex-6, Dynax 4, 5, 60, 500si/600si/700si/800si, various Sony & Minolta lenses, several Tamrons, lots of MF primes and *far* too many old film cameras . . .

Actually, no they don't; the fitters are, almost exclusively, UK based whilst the tyres are manufactured in Istanbul. The technical people are, however, mostly Italian.

Well, for those decades you first have to survive the next couple of years

Scratch that, both the F1 and the easter show cancelled! And starting Monday the government will discourage any non essential gathering of more than 500 people.
In the hours since that statement there's been a raft of other cancellations happening.
