I actually got David from Leitax converted my Pentax A 50/1.2 to alpha mount. The process is reversible, but you have to cut off/remove the aperture arm to prevent it from hitting the mirror box. Nonetheless, with the ability to adapt ZF/ZF.2 now, IMO, Sony actually has more advantage than Canikon. Canon people have been playing with Alternative glass for years (admittedly less costly via adapter, but more trouble with mirror shaving), so I don't see why we can't do the same thing with Sony. We can actually have SSS as well.
