Welcome to part 20 of the "random shots" thread. Previous ones are:

Just to recap what this thread is about: there are only three simple rules that must be fulfilled to post a photo in here:

  • The photo you post must be selected from your gallery in a random way (or pseudo-random - if there are some computing purists around ). Use your calculator, or computer to generate some pseudo-random number. Or use dice or results of your national lottery, or whatever ...

  • The first shot selected must be posted, i.e. no cheating is allowed because e.g. "that first photos was so awful"

  • No more than one photo per day is allowed.

Of course all are encouraged to comment others work and discuss various aspects of posted photos.

Believe it or not, but random.org picked #1 (from a choice of 1 to 2485 ), so my random picture is the last one I uploaded yesterday evening:

Great photos as always from Dyxumers.
I have been following this site for about 2 years since acquiring my A200 and
am impressed with the standard of photography and the supportive nature of contributors.
Thought it was about time I joined you.
Here is a random shot I took in England last year.

Thanks for looking

@ JohnnyNZ - welcome to Dyxum! And a lovely image to start posting with as well! It's a nice, clean and uncluttered shot and I like it a lot; can you tell us where this was?

@pauljg - also a very pleasing image; fills the frame really nicely and good snow presentation!

Kind regards, Neil.
My Mantra: "Comment on other's work as you would wish to have yours commented upon". Go on - it's fun!
