Since the Post your random thread is sometimes hijacked by people posting recent shots (and not reading the rules, no harm done ), I thought we could have a "Post your recent shots" thread (MiPr thought it was worth a try ).

The idea of this thread is:
- to post recent pictures, less than a week old
- to post only one picture a day (no more).
This is subject to changes if people want to discuss it

So here is my shot, taken today (not a good shot but wanted to get the ball rolling!)

I like the idea, but it's not really taking off.

Shot this morning. Shows not all fungus age gracefully

I went out to take pictures in montmartre this morning and took the metro at blanche to go back home. I didn't really feel like taking anymore pictures by this point but the station is under construction and makes for a nice "alternative" atmosphere. Taken with an a2000 and cz16-80 at 45mm, iso800.

May be because the time window is too short (among other things like Fall/Winter in the Northern Hemisphere ). May be we should say a week?

Here is a shot from yesterday:

Personally I like the idea of 1 week. I'm unfortunately sometimes obligated to wait several days before I can process photos I take but I do like the idea of this thread specifically because I think the time factor - knowing a photo was just recently snapped - adds a unique dimension to the way we look at it.

Today I shot several autumn pictures, I rather like this with the somewhat muted colours before a dark background so I chose this as my recent shot for today
