Stiuskr: thanks for the info. Finally figured it out with having to get rid of all the text except the code within the IMG beginnings and ends. It's a lot easier from the Zenfolio site.

Posting pictures from Google can be problematic at times (see previous page). Sometimes you need to add #.jpg after the picture link but sometimes more is required as was found by AnneM

So taking out these letters might help you in some cases.

Testing

Yay!

Not sure why Google has to make this so hard.

Now I am wondering if it is possible to link directly to Facebook still.

Thanks, I probably need to fix the rest of the photos I just posted.

I wish there was a guide someplace for what those do. The w-idth and h-eight options are pretty self-explanatory. "-rw" looks like permissions.

Copied from another topic but feel it should be mentioned here also.

The new image pages don't provide a tool for linking directly to an image's idividual URL, and on my Mac the ctrl-click shortcut no longer pops up a menu option to copy the image URL either.

Here's what works in my case for repairing my image links in Dyxum:

If the old photo.net URL for an image was for example

http://gallery.photo.net/photo/18340107-lg.jpg

Then the URL to replace that with has become

http://d6d2h4gfvy8t8.cloudfront.net/18340107-orig.jpg

So far it looks like all my images went from the gallery.photo.net address to the new d6d2h4gfvy8t8.cloudfront.net location, but if that doesn't work for you then you'll need to open one of your images in PN and use the "View Page Source" tool in your browser to find the new address for it. You'll find it about halfway down the source code, a few lines before a section tagged with subheader <!-- PHOTO main view -->.

Photobucket no longer allows me to link my photos to Dyxum unless I upgrade my account to a paying subscriber. I am not going to do that.

I had so many issues with photo.net I stopped using them to.

Any advice would be appreciated.

It seems image from 500px cannot be posted here... I tried the same technique on other forums and it works. Just does not work on dyxum... (after copying the technique from here!)

This is what I am trying to post...
[ i m g ]https://drscdn.500px.org/photo/291174369/m%3D900/v2?webp=true&sig=99a453a080d539cbf98c7a21928d59808dda1f2a451a08743b9fcf01cee65aaf[ / i m g ]

Any help would be appreciated.

The problem is your link does not end with at jpg. I did a quick Google search but could not find a solution.

But it works in other forums. You can copy-paste the link into the browser also and it works like other bbcodes.

I did google myself and couldn't come up with anything else.
The google photos method doesn't seem to work either.
I am at the limit of 1000 photos on flickr. I rather not open more accounts in many different places!
