Thanks! I'm glad you like the second shot because I'm fairly happy with it if for no other reason than it reminds me of when she's finished nursing. On that first shot I actually had a few "silly facial expressions" to choose from - I didn't personally see this one as a near-sneeze situation but now that you mention it... Trying to go for a jokey sort of thing since the missus hates her hair like that. (And in the interest of full disclosure I was thinking of the website "awkward family photos" when I decided to develop this one!) Paul, very nice photo, maybe a tad high on the exposure for my tastes but then that may be just it: comes down to a matter of taste at that point... Edited by brian33 - 30 September 2010 at 22:08 |

If you want to know where the power lies, then ask whom you can't criticize!

@ zfcentral: great viewer connection with this self concious boy. I like it a lot!
@SerbianAdonis, quite the contrary from Paul's shot, but you captured the mood very well @kozmo, Good ones, I like the composition and build up of the first, only the WB seems a bit too yellow. The second is a beautiful tender moment where the B&W works really well. Might crop a bit from the left (not much happening there) but not absolutely needed. |

Excellent Bahudda (I mean the first), lovely portrait where you get drawn in immediately by those beautiful eyes.

Like the selective colour Bahudda, did you blur the surrounds in PP as well as the B&W or was it shot like that?
