At the moment I'm trying to master two different things
B/W conversion and portraits (got myself a set some lighting devices)
And given the results of this thread . . .

A friend of my daughter asked me to shoot her with a pondering/worrying look.
This is what cam out of it



and it was not all worrying

@bigjt: that last one (14:02 my time) looks like a golden age of Hollywood glamour shot. Maybe a little more contrast in the lighting...

Alan thanks.....almost all my shots are with natural lighting so im constantly trying to get it right ( with limited success )

I prefer a smiling face myself, but I like #2 best. Grat light and a very nice crop/compo. # 4 is very nice too!
