Aargh - I shouldn't have said anything. This is still one for the album (or mantelpiece). It's just us fusspot photographers who notice such things as catchlights. Remarkable for 1/15s.

You are right again! We have it on a 16" x "24" canvas above our mantelpiece. She lives over 300 miles away so don,t get too many opportunities to photograph.

A very cute baby and well chosen moment too. I like the happiness that comes from the smile and the glow in the eyes, just priceless.

The last 4 photos are just spectacular.

James, what lovely children you have.

John, powerful eyes, great composition and the conversion is just perfect.

svjetlana, the eyes can truly tell a story here. You can swing in those eyes. Beautiful.

Fascinating shot Jet.

And svjetlana, do I recognize this as a different treatment of a previous post from your India trip? Lovely image.

All of the images on this page are quite beautiful.

Thanks Svjetlana, yes and no.. There might be a moment that I can be more objective to it. This is from the holiday with my mom in November. I "need" to finish the photobook as fast as possible as it is going fast downhill with her. At this moment, to process those pictures, is really hard for me.

I thought I'd share some portraits of my wife that I've taken over the last couple years.

This was taken for her recital poster.

At the piano,

This is from when we first started dating. My roommate had taken apart an old telephone and made it into a bananaphone.
