I've started a 100 Strangers project https://www.flickr.com/groups/100strangers/
This week met many strangers, had a chat with them and eventually 2 where willing to cooperate on my project

I felt all clumsy asking/taking there time, but sure I'll learn

IMO there's room for improvement The b&w conversion comes out well, but the lower part is too dark and especially misses the texture and definition of the wool jumper

and losing the block and tackle doesn't allow the eye to circle back around and maintain interest.

I'd agree: lifting the shadows will most likely help.
