Marvelous isolation of the portrayed - here the lens really shines. But it is also obvious that it needs a good eye for the OOF areas and the bokeh produced in them.

Yes Fred, I like BW so much in this case, even if clothes and environment were so coloured...and...they are both women :) there were in fact 4 generations in that courtyard, She was the grand-grandma
