Well done everybody, keep them coming.

My daughter & son, on her "Deb" night which is similar to the US Prom.

Sony a700, l can't remember which lens it was either the Min 85mm, or the Tam 17-50mm, but l used the "Presslite (Vertex) flash diffuser US$60 it does a great job.

jet-set-willy;
Now those are some very sharp eyes! Well done! Skin tone looks very natural too. I sort of wish the forehead wasn't chopped off. Babies' fuzzy foreheads are very attractive and add warmth to the photo. If I were going to be picky I guess I would say the hand is a bit distracting too. Perhaps a higher angle would have rendered it less distracting.

But I remember well how hard it was to get good shots of the little ones with their fast changing moods and very vocal demands! So I'd say you did great to get this one, and really nail the focus.

Thank you revdocjim,

I just took a couple of quick snaps of Jessica while out with the family at a Zoo park yesterday, just spur of the moment as she was pulling faces at me from her pushchair
