Mee, your picture makes me ask myself... As the photographer gets further away from the subject, and the subject takes up less and less of the image, at what distance from the subject does a picture stop being a "portrait"?

It's not a trick question. I don't know the answer. But you've got me wondering.

@Elisha: nice post processing with the sharp and blue eyes

I do think that the arm in the left corner is too much in the way and covers here chin -- perhaps some cropping could help?

@Dave: very nice mood and I like the 'soft' look by your shallow DOF. I am generally not a fan of one eye out of focus but it works well here

Perhaps it is my monitor but the skin tone looks too red to me? Have you calibrated your monitor? Otherwise, perhaps adjust the tint in the white balance or profile.
