This is what he looks like when he's playing.

this is a surprisingly vivid roman sculpture in the metropolitan museum in NY. I am erally happy with this picture. The lights and compo are just like I wanted it. Shure, I had some time to take it from several angles :-)

greetings

Thanks Brian. When I can nail them to the floor (or swing or horse) so I've time to focus and compose my kids can be quite photogenic. Taking #3 was fun as I was sitting right in the line of fire, so each time he swung forwards I had to lie back quickly, then get up in time for the shot. Best exercise I've had in years.

Sophia does a fine Shirley Temple imitation, and the young man has a very mobile face. Nice shooting Ian.

Thanks guys! I cannot judge the quality of my shots of the family as I am too biased, so it is really nice to get the positive comments

#2 might have been taken with the 85G Dave so you are safe. For a while I had both the original and the G and don't remember which shots came from which.

My bad Ian. Mixed two treads together (thought you handled 135 1.8 here; sorry).

Anyway, they are all great! But #2 is special. Lovely colours, beautiful DOF, sharp where it should be (and a beautiful little girl of course).

Well done!

I wish! I have some money burning a hole in my pocket (thank you Mr Tax Man) and keep looking at this lens (and at an a900, and at a 300/2.8...)

Well here's my meager offering for the day. This is one I took last fall that I never got around to.
