I like the style of that vehicle. Is it really old, old just 'old style'?

Hello Fred;
Yes that is an original "streetcar". The City has quite an extensive list of equipment. All are original, many are local to San Francisco and many are from around the world and the run "The Streets of San Francisco" daily. They run in conjunction w our heritage Cable Cars. I rode the above streetcar to see the USS Zumwalt Here is my 35mm negative I digitize scanned and call "Back in 2001" on a rainy, windswept San Francisco day This is a you tube, the streetcars in everyday action https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=2ahUKEwjumJ2Kx9HlAhWTqZ4KHefvDKAQwqsBMAB6BAgJEAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DXYfU4mMAFKw&usg=AOvVaw1A6l21RGfgOgxGSbTXy47t All the Best______Joe Edited by Coast - 09 January 2020 at 20:20 |

the "Beast"
Wheelworks Hello Doc; You have some of the most historic, great, perfect shots of the "Big Boy" I would give anything to have that stand alone shot of it, and you even have one of the "Legend" the shot of the "King" and the Legend double heading up that mountain grade is as historic as a rail road photo will ever get. That might never happen again, its unbelievable it happened at all! I was even wondering, now they have the Big Boy if they might just put 844 into a museum. It must cost a ton to keep those 2 running, but than the "PR" UP has gotten out of this is probably priceless All the Best Joe |

Hey, Joe!
Where have you been. I haven't seem many posts from you recently, but I have not been hre much recently myself. I've had too many other things going on. Thanks for the compliments, but your two photos here a great! Especially like the first with the Mountains as a backdrop! And lots of steam! Hard to believe that in a few months it will have been a year since it came to Ogden! Thanks for sharing these, and the nice street car shots! Nice work, keep them coming! Kind regards, Kelly |
