Beautiful landscapes with train Pieter! (well, funicular)
Looks like you had a nice little holiday in the alps! These remind of of our holidays in Südtirol and the funicular on the mountain above Kaltern am See! I think I posted a couple photos here once upon a time! Kelly |

The train to Tirano departing the Alp Grum station in the Ober Engadin (Switzerland) on a gloomy day
And after a sloping down tight curve the train passes underneath the station through a beautiful landscape (both photos taken from about the same spot, ~180 degrees difference in direction) Both A6000 + E16-50PZ |

Very nice! I see she has some 4 legged fans!
This is an American Locomotive Company (ALCO) designed FPA-4. I did a little research because I have owned a German Fleischmann built model of this locomotive with the Santa Fe "warbonnet" color scheme since childhood. I read that this one was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works for the Canadian National RW. I don't think there are many of these locomotives in existence. Nice to see one preserved!
