Here's one from this winter! A great chase in Northern Québec in my trusty Echo!

The use of a large electric locomotive to transport one forklift truck seems a bit exaggerated, but the Rhaetian Railways thought otherwise:

Serious snowploughs Victor! Compare with the mini ploughs on 47760, seen on the rear of a Southport - Holyhead Compass Tour charter at Bangor. The Virgin Voyager stabled in the centre will form the 12:24 Bangor to Euston.

VIA 602 rolls west through Sainte-Thecle. Got real lucky with the clouds, here!

@ Malina DZ - very interesting photos.

This thread has been a little quiet lately. It was good to see some train photos in the weekly exhibition a couple of weeks ago.

I'm pretty sure I posted these before, but they are next chronologically. From July 15, 2011:
1.

amtrak 703 again by p_man's trains, on Flickr
Sony DSLR-A200 | 1/400 | f/8.0 | 35 mm on 18-70 kit | ISO 400

2.

amtrak 703 b&w by p_man's trains, on Flickr
Sony DSLR-A200 | 1/200 | f/8.0 | 18 mm on 18-70 kit | ISO 400

An Amtrak crossing Exchange Street in Buffalo, shortly after leaving the Exchange Street station. It's headed East toward Depew and then on to NYC.

C&C always welcome

Out playing with the Rokinons 8mm Fisheye, 35mm and 85mm today and I'm blown away with these (relatively) inexpensive manual lenses. Edit: I've forgot to mention that all are with the a99 using auto WB.

At Snoqualmie Rail Museum

1. Depot Signage (35mm)

2. Depot(built 1890 - old for western USA) (Fisheye)

3. Diagram of Tracks and Signals (inside the depot) (35mm, low light, hand held)

4. Engine 529 (Fisheye)

5. No. 6 (35mm)

ILCE's a6000, a7, a7ii, a6400
CZ Batis 25, 85, SEL's 55/1.8, 35/1.4, 16-70/4, 24-70/4, 70-200/4, 90/2.8G Macro, 55-210/4.5-6.3, 16-50/3.5-5.6, Rokinon E 12/2, and a modest collection of vintage lenses
