Yet another terrific "landscape railway" shot from you, Matt. (Hope you don't mind being called "Matt"!).
I took one look at the shot and thought "magicman". This might have good potential for B&W conversion, if you like playing with editing tools.

Congratulations, Mathieu! Westbound UP Stack Train was selected for this weeks Exhibition! Excellent work!

In fact there are many great photos on this page!

I really like the two Steam photos by Matt, the second one even better than the fist!

Alan's Enginemen is very nice. I love rail photos with crew. Bad luck that two of the crew had their backs to the camera!

Like the texture and lines created by the rails and catenary in mariuszlo Pendolino in Poland.

Nice composition in Mathieu's OHRY 2211. Love these old rail depots and the semaphore!

Aavo, a beautiful mountain landscape with nice leading lines to the locomotive shed!

Regards,

Kelly

Thanks, Kelly! I am quite honoured, indeed!

Here's another one from my recent Arizona trip:

Sweet! Another beauty! Is the second locomotive in that set Pink? Thats an unusual color scheme! Almost looks like a former Southern Pacific engine. Many of the UP former SP engines have faded SP colors that look a little like that.

Close! It's a former Santa Fe engine from the early 90's. The pink used to be red.
