Lovely shot Fred, super composition with the roof directly overhead. Despite the absence of trains there's an impression of speed with the convergence of the horizontals at the far end of the station.

Very nice, Joe!

This must be a photo from when you were in Ely last time?

Hi Doc,👋
Sorry, I took the weekend off (a little abstinence)
Yes, that was from my last and only trip, so far. To get there from where I live, one has to drive on Hwy 50 (the Loneliest Road in America). It was just a regular, everyday, day, except for it was I believe 9/11
Thanks for the nice compliment. Coming from a Pro like you that's - Big!

Joe

Hey Joe!

No problemo! And you are welcome. I guess the leaves on the trees on the left side are a clue that the photo was not taken recently! They may only now be starting to get foliage.

Thanks. I'm not a pro -- I just play one on TV.

Because of all the snow in February, I didn't get a photo of that side of the station. I wish I had.

Kelly

The modified Antwerp railway station has dug 3 levels deep (with tracks) into the ground. It used to be a terminus type station, but at the lowest level they dug a tunnel, so now some trains can go through the station without changing direction.

This is a view on the lowest level, which is mostly used for express and international trains

Helsinki Central Railway Station:

1. On the right PVV31 "Tolstoy" to Moscow

2. And in this picture that that night train and its Russian train attendants waiting for the passangers are on the left side
