Our path crossed the railway to Kleine Scheidegg again near the Allmend Haltestelle. Had to take some pictures.... obviously!

Amsterdam central station, including an IBIS hotel. I bet the rooms on the lowest floor are the cheapest

I have been photographing Merseyrail's class 507s and 508s as they will soon be replaced by class 777s. These pictures were taken at Cressington station, which has a suburban feel to it and some interesting features.

London St Pancras Eurostar terminal, old architecture with a few modern touches.


A850 + Min 16/2.8 fisheye

North Llanrwst station was opened on 17 June 1863, the only passing place on the single track Conwy Valley line. The station buildings are grade 2 listed but disused, the station is unstaffed and you buy your ticket from the conductor after boarding the train.

Southbound platform as a charter train from Derby calls to pass a northbound service train.

@Fred_S: Nicely done, Fred! The dark vignette helps draw the eye to the "high alter" of transport (or is that the exit ). The exposure and contrast were perfect for B/W conversion.
