This thread has been quiet for a while... It's been, erm, "quiet rainy" in the UK recently.

In fact, I was greatly inconvenienced by a lightning strike while flying into Luton on Sunday evening. As the storm passed by, it treated us to a particularly intense double rainbow.    Of course, I had the wrong lens to catch it all...

Double Rainbow at Luton Airport

Camera Model: ILCE-6000 | Lens: E 35mm F1.8 OSS | Focal Length: 35 mm | Aperture: f/7.1 | Exposure Time: 0.005 sec (1/200) | ISO: 100

I thought about entering this next one in the DPC Windows contest, but i'm not convinced that it's really a window photo, more like a rain photo.

No, although the rainbow ends were close enough, I did not venture into trying to find the treasures, especially as the lake water was still bit chilly (ok, some official water temperature recording elsewhere in the same lake system was 16°C). And both pictures were taken from the terra firma and only threat was the little rain and that was not threatening my life at all, although few droplets ended up on front lens element, which spoiled some of the pictures of this situation...
