Wish me luck - I'm off on another mad charity run!

Camera Model: ILCA-99M2 | Lens: Sony A 50mm F1.4 | Focal Length: 50 mm | Aperture: f/2.8 | Exposure Time: 0.017 sec (1/60) | ISO: 2000

I'm taking part in the Luton Airport Runway Run to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. It's a bit of an early start because we have to be done before planes start taking off!   In fact, I may even be finished before sunrise...

I'll see if I can get some photos (A6000/Pancake16-50 in the bumbag!)

    Go Mike

My grandmother and uncle passed away because of this terrible disease. Luckily they caught it early in my aunt and godmother. So a lot of my close family was affected and I really appreciate any efforts going towards it.
The death is really not the worst part, it is the hell it puts people through

I can only second Anand - I have quite some experience with that disease! Thank you for going to that great length!

it's all done - cameras didn't seem likely to be allowed so I'll post a few iphone snaps later. There were 200+ runners so I hope we raised a decently large sum (I'll post updates as I found out)   The Macmillan charity does such good work.

Well done Mike! I am afraid most of us have beloved ones suffering from or even lost with by this disease. Let's hope your run really contributes to further progress in this fight that seems hard to win.
