Hi everyone.
I've finally broke into the e-mount world and ordered an a6600 after much deliberation. It was a body-only purchase with an LAEA3 adapter. The camera hasn't arrived yet however I'm looking for a rear LCD screen protector. The parts number that Sony gives for this is the PCK-LS1EM and I'm having real trouble finding it anywhere in the UK. The a6500 seems to have the same size screen however the parts number is the same. Does anyone else already have this camera and has ordered a protector (hopefully in the UK)? I'd be interested if any of the other Sony PCK-xxxxx actually fits properly? I'm just really surprised that eBay UK shows nothing for this; there's a first time for everything I guess. Thanks. |

I ordered screen protectors for my A6000 and A7(R)ii from a shop in the Netherlands. Their "home brand" fitted perfectly and is not expensive and I think they deliver abroad (at least Belgium worked and looking at the country list for addresses on their website the UK is included).
They also have one for the A6600: sony-a6600-glazen-screenprotector--glass-screen-protector-huismerk. If you order two you get one Euro off every screen. Only their website is in Dutch, but with Google translate you can probably overcome that easily. So if you can't find them in the UK maybe you can try it in the Netherlands. |

Mind the bandwidth of others, don't link pictures larger then 1024 wide or 960 pix high, see here

Thank you. I'll certainly keep this in mind. I'm hoping to buy this within the UK as postage/shipping costs are getting extortionate. This is the very reason why I simply don't bother buying from overseas sellers on eBay anymore.
Thanks again. Best regards Gavin

Well it seems that the PCK-LM17 may actually fit so I've ordered one off eBay (alot easier to find). I guess I'll find out soon enough.
I'm not sure when the a6600 is due to arrive exactly and obviously suppliers will be busy at this time of year but to say I'm looking forward to its arrival is an understatement. This is my first e-mount body and I'm really excited to get to grips with the a6600. I won't be going overboard with e-mount lenses either. I do have my eye on three particular e-mount lenses but I am not in a rush to go after those just yet. |
