There have been instances recently where images have been found to have been used without permission or accreditation to the original photographer. Copyright is a very important issue, especially for photographers, and should be respected at all times. Please make sure you are familiar with our rules on copyright.

Images included in any Dyxum posting should be made with the permission of the original photographer, or where this has not been explicitly given, the originator should be acknowledged in accompanying text (ie a quote including an image should appear with the tag of "Originally posted by.." or similar. There should never be any suggestion of 'passing off' images from another member (or source) as their own.

Postings violating copyright will be hidden or edited. Repeated violations will leave the offending member open to sanctions. Postings on other sites violating copyright on pictures that have been featured on Dyxum and which can be traced back to members may also be subject to action.
