Topic: Rode wireless Go II questions Posted: 05 September 2024 at 06:51 |
Hi guys,
I recently started using the Wireless Go II. My camera is an A7S III. I have used a Rode mic previously. With that one, I could listen to the audio as it is being recorded via an ear plug from the camera. I have found that I can't listen live when using the Go II. Am I not seeing a setting? Also, I have two volume settings, one on the Rode Receiver and one in the camera body. I have adjusted the Rode gain while testing but don't see any change in the audio bars (I've set the gain mode to fine.) Does one take priority over the other? Appreciate any info you can provide. Cheers! |

I doubt a lot of people around here have experience with wireless microphones.
Did you check the headphone volume settings on the camera? There is a limiter on the audio input, maybe you hit that? Maybe the Sony help guide is, ehm, helpful: https://helpguide.sony.net/ilc/2010/v1/en/contents/TP0003188699.html |

After I discovered I wasn't hearing anything, I swapped back to the original Rode mic and had audio so I figured it wasn't the camera.
Thanks for the link. |
